One of the few things guaranteed to tie people together is the simple joy of a good meal and a great glass of wine. This is the basic philosophy of our cooking classes where “regular” people, so to speak, join in to create a lovely meal – together.

Working in a kitchen – tasting, smelling, talking and enjoying – creates a fruitful fellowship amongst colleagues, friends, at client events or when new groups are getting acquainted. It’s our experience that culinary work brings people together. It creates a great team spirit, very suitable when proper quality bonding is needed.

How does it work

A Cooking Class generally starts at 4.00 pm, but you may also opt to start at 11.00 am – or at some other hour. That is up to you.

Upon arrival, you will be served a glass of champagne and introduced to the concept.

At 4.15 pm we start off with part one, the wine tasting – tasting some great wines, focusing on tasting techniques and basic wine theory.

At 5.15 pm we head into the kitchen, where the participants are divided into teams. The teams may be formed in advance, based on who will benefit the most from working together. In the kitchen you prepare a 5 course dinner from scratch: 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 dessert and sweets for coffee.

At 7.30 pm you are seated and the dinner starts. Our staff takes over and serves the 5 courses, the matching wines and coffee after your dessert.

At 10.30 pm we are done with the official part of the evening, but you are of course more than welcome to stay and enjoy the evening.
